2001 Conference

ANN held its second conference in Bloomington, Minnesota (Twin Cities area) on June 22-24, 2001. Our keynote speaker was Dr. Richard Hertle, M.D.

You can learn more about the topics covered by taking a look at the agenda.

The conference was a tremendous success and we had approximately 100 people that attended. The first conference in 1999 had approximately 65 attendees and was made up of a 50-50 mix of adults with nystagmus and parents of kids with nystagmus. The 2001 conference attendees were still about 50-50 but the difference with this conference was the fact that we had a number of families that brought their children. This added yet another dimension to the networking, since parents could see other kids with nystagmus.

We will be publishing some of the materials from the conference in the coming months so be sure to check back here.
