Nystagmus and Asperger's Syndrome

Nystagmus Discussion Board: Nystagmus and Social Interactions: Nystagmus and Asperger's Syndrome

Is anyone familiar with Asperger's Syndrome?

I am a 25 year old and have both Nystagmus and Asperger's Syndrome. I was wondering if there is a connection between the two.

Have you gone to see a neurologist? How about a neuro-opthalmologist? Just wondering.

Go to the google search engine and type in "Nystagmus vaccine". You'll see an article from mercola.com pop up. It compares autism to mercury poisoning.

I have nystagmus (best corrected to 20/200), along with numerous other symptoms listed in that article. But I am not autistic. I suspect I have Aspergers instead since I have a rather high IQ for math/logic.

I have some of the social problems that I had always thought were just a result of having nystagmus and thus being an easy target for all the bullies I happen to come across. But I am beginning to suspect that the social problems, neurological problems (nystagmus is only one), and a rather serious immune system problem may all be part of Asperger's.

I would strongly recommend that you do some serious research on vaccines before you ever get another one. The MMR especially.

Do you have a high IQ for math as well?
