ANN Conference 2007
Comments from Previous Conferences
I have CN 20/80 20/100 and learned of the website just two weeks
ago. I
attended the conference and I must say, it was soooo good to be in a room
of people and knowing it's "safe" to look anyone directly in their eyes
as we shared our stories.
I have been on the list a little over a year and have been quiet most
of the time, but have learned so much from all of you. I attended
the conference on Saturday and REALLY enjoyed it. Just when I
thought I knew everything there is to know about Nystagmus, I learned
so much more.
I learned more at the conference then I have in six years of asking
questions. I really enjoyed meeting all the wonderful people who attended.
Meeting others with N and being able to talk to them directly about a variety of
subjects has been even more useful to her. So MANY friendly people sharing
stories and histories.
I attend conferences frequently for my professional life and this one was done
very well. I appreciate the fact that I had the opportunity to attend. I gain a
great deal.
What made the Conference great in some people eyes, wasn't anything that I
planned but the interactions between the people that attended. Seeing someone
with Nystagmus meeting another Nystagmite for the first time and having two
families from Louisiana come to the registration table in Minnesota and discover
that they live 30 or 40 miles apart.
